A New England native,

Johanna is the principal artist and designer behind this sustainable business. She launched her foundational art studies at Rhode Island School of Design and The Museum School of Fine Arts, Boston. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design & International Trade and Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology SUNY, she then pursued an Environmental Management certification at Harvard University Extension.

While working as an Interior Designer for Jonathan Adler Boston, she recognized the importance of purposefully designed interiors and the impact they have on occupants’ overall well being. She then moved to the Bay Area to earn her Feng Shui certification where she still lives and offers her design services.

The pivotal focus of her work is on the confluence of art, design and the environment. With a discerning eye and emphasis on sustainability, she creates custom art and intentional spaces that inspire people to feel supported, healthy and enabled to thrive.

Her work is an amalgam of elements collected from around the world, merged to create one of a kind sculptural works for body and home, intended to engage a more balanced relationship between nature, art and consumerism.

In gratitude, a percentage of all artwork sales are donated to the Natural Resources Defense Council in an effort to preserve the landscapes that inspire her work.
